Prince Muhammad Bin Fahd International Foundation Insignia for Voluntary Work

In 2018, the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd International Foundation in Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Arab Voluntary Union in Bahrain, launched the "Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd International Foundation Insignia for Best Voluntary Work" award. This initiative coincided with the International Volunteer Day on December 5th of each year. To enhance the international standing of the Insignia, the scope of participation was expanded from the Arab world to a global level, in partnership with the United Nations Volunteers programme in Egypt, the United Nations Population Fund - Regional Office for the Arab States, and the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait.

The Objectives

  1. To stimulate competition in voluntary work.
  2. To disseminate and promote the concept of social responsibility.
  3. To encourage NGOs, organizations, and individuals to increase their contributions to outstanding voluntary projects in order to contribute to the development process.
  4. To contribute to the development of voluntary work and direct it towards contributing to the process of sustainable development in society.
  5. To highlight the role of voluntary institutions, organizations, and individuals by giving them attention and appreciation.
