Princess Alanoud Foundation, represented by the Warf Youth Development Center, in collaboration with the Arab Voluntary Union and the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait, concluded the " Princess Alanoud Youth Leadership Program". The program aimed to qualify a new generation capable of shouldering responsibilities efficiently and effectively, under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and in the presence of Prince Mohammed bin Saud bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the President of the Arab Voluntary Union, His Excellency Mr. Hassan Mohammed Buhazaa, and a number of academics and guests.
The program aimed to enhance the role of youth in supporting economic and social development efforts, support youth in designing development initiatives, enhance their leadership capabilities, and instill the principles of proactive strategic thinking to open up horizons of creativity.
The program included numerous training workshops conducted by international trainers from outside the Kingdom. It also featured a showcase of successful experiences narrated by leaders in various fields through enriching meetings within the program, including Hamad Al-Enezi, CEO of Fadan Group, Ahmed Al-Masned, General Manager of Corporate Communications and Marketing at Airports Corporation, Hamad Al-Bakr, Chief Commercial Officer at Jahez International, Eng. Faisal Al-Saber, CEO of the Customer Sector at stc Group and Chairman of stc channels, and Dr. Othman Al-Muammar, Head of the Youth Communication Group Y20.
It is worth noting that the program graduated 46 leaders, who received 60 training hours over a training period from October 29 to November 28. They worked on creating 9 different initiatives contributing to community development in various aspects. Six initiatives were selected, and the program’s journey will conclude with a field visit to Kuwait for the winning initiatives.
